From Spackle to Sightline: Art Installation with SJ Art Consulting LLC
This two-day course, open to those at any level of experience, is intended for homeowners, students, artists, and creatives wanting to learn how to properly and safely install artwork and decorative items. The course will begin with a thorough, hands-on tutorial on the safe usage of basic hand and cordless tools. Students will learn about several types of anchors and how to install them, picture-hanging hardware, and how to make artwork “wall-ready.”
By the close of this course, students will be able to assess the tools and hardware necessary to install any type of artwork, have a basic understanding of proper heights and sight-lines, and be able to execute grouping and installing multiple pieces of artwork in varying weight and size.
Session 2 Includes:
Part 1: Saturday, Jan 12th, 10am - 2pm and,
Part 2: Saturday, Jan 19th, 10am - 2pm
